unclear family

Concrete poetry narrative

Clearly influenced by bpNichol’s Extreme Positions, this chapbook uses typewritten concrete poetry, and the page as frame, to tell a simple tale of a family going, well, nuclear. It is divided into three sections: nuclear, reaction, and refusion. Interestingly, over twenty years on, I’m still exploring family in narrative.

Bob Grumman’s cover design was a wonderful surprise.
