Barrie Arts advocates on behalf of artists, analyzes cultural best practices and advises on issues related to arts and culture in the city of Barrie.

Chalmers programme, arts fellowships and development grants in crafts, dance, integrated arts, literature, media arts, multi-disciplinary arts, music, theatre or visual arts.

1998–2004 Web Editor and Editorial Consultant, Coach House Books

Responsible for the design of the website, expanding the selection of online books, for special projects on the site, including audio and video, and general editorial duties.

1991–2004 Proprietor, Afterwords Literature

Retailer of small and micro press literature; a wide range of largely ephemeral material published over the last thirty years. Two printed catalogues published to date, plus an extensive website.

1990–1998 Publisher, Editor, Designer and Printer, fingerprinting inkoperated

A micro press publishing a variety of experimental written and visual work in book, chapbook and leaflet formats. Printing methods range from manual printing to desktop publishing. Authors published include: Nelson Ball, Christian Bök, jwcurry, MAC Farrant, Gerry Gilbert, bpNichol, David UU, Darren Wershler-Henry.

The Great Canadian Literary Hunt contest.

1995–1997 Co-publisher, Co-editor and Designer, Caju Press

The press mandate was to publish English-language editions of South Asian folk literature, and to promote awareness of South Asian literature and culture, particularly in the diaspora.

1995–1997 Board Member and Webmaster, Scream in High Park

Member of the board responsible for organizing this annual literary reading; also responsible for the development and maintenance of the organization’s website.
